For my album cover I decided to re-create, I chose Aphex Twin's album, ' ...I care because you do'. I chose this album cover because it was easy to recreate and looked like something that could be easily manipulated on photoshop using the editing tools available.

This was the original image taken with a iPod.
In order to achieve the look of the album cover, I would
have to put it in Photoshop and achieve a watercolour type effect

After importing the photo into Photoshop, I created three layers over the picture and
selected the first layer. I applied the 'Cutout' filter to the settings in the picture below. This simplified
the look of the picture and made it brighter.

Now I selected Layer 2 and applied the 'Dry Brush effect onto the effect, which adds a
filter on top of the image. I adjusted the settings of the filter and then the settings of the layer
to work well with the filter which was changing the layer blend mode to screen.

I acheived this by changing the 3rd layer by adding a 'Median' filter
over the top of the image, removing image quality in a way that it looks like
a painting. I then change the blend mode of this layer to soft light to achieve desired effect
